Meet the Wester Inch Team

Lisa Graham

Position: Manager
Qualifications: HND Childhood Practice. Currently studying BA Childhood Practice
Experience/Background: Throughout my studies I have completed numerous placement in many different settings supporting children ages 0-12 years. I have wanted to work in the industry since high school and love supporting children and their families. I began working at Simply Play during my HND and loved it! I then progressed on to the managers position at Balbardie before heading to the Wester Inch club. My time at Simply Play has been great and exciting and can’t wait to see what’s next!
Interesting fact: Many, many, many years ago I used to be a gymnast and sometimes (depending on how flexible I’m feeling) I can still manage a cartwheel!

Patsy Maxwell

Position: Practitioner
Qualification: HNC in Social Care and SVQ3 Health and Social Care (Adults)
Background: I have been employed supporting adults with learning difficulties and physical difficulties for 13 years. I have worked for various companies in many different settings. I enjoy supporting people to reach their potential by providing encouragement in their independence and introducing them to new challenges. I felt I needed a change of career and that my skill set transferred into childcare, an area that I am interested in learning more-of.
Interesting fact: When the after school clubs were a new concept I was part of the management committee of parents that recognise the need for this service in the Deans area of Livingston and with the help of the community education department in Deans high school we set up this business from scratch. I am pleased to say that it is now run by Simply Play!
