Qualifications: I have studied childcare courses for seven years, I have achieved an NC in Child, Health and Social Care, an NC and HNC in early Education and Childcare, a HND in Childhood Practice and Bachelor’s Award in Childhood Practice.
Experience/Background: Previously, I was a Care Worker in my village, where I supported the elderly to live independently in their own homes. I then became a Paediatric Carer where I provided Health and Social Care to children with complex needs. I have been a Childcare Practitioner in an Out of School Care Setting as well as a Childcare Practitioner in a Local Authority Nursery School. I am also currently the Manager of a Playgroup.
Voluntary Work: I worked in a Family centre for one year as a volunteer.
Training: First Aid Training, Epilepsy and Midazolam Training, Safe Administration of Medicines Training, Principles of Care and Confidentiality Training, Child Protection Training, Elementary Food Hygiene and Allergy Training, Building the Ambition Training, GIRFEC Training, and My World Outdoors Training.
Interesting Fact: I was born to be a HIPPIE, I LOVE Camper Vans, flowers, bright colours, little jazzy bits and bobs and Elephants
Qualifications: I am in the process of registering to complete my Childhood practice qualification
